Bring an upcoming lesson or class session. Leave with a plan you can teach tomorrow. This extended, two-hour, hands-on workshop combines practical teaching strategies with dedicated time to put them to work. During the first half, explore research-informed strategies and ideas for getting students thinking, participating, engaged, and remembering, without adding hours of prep. Then shift into a guided design studio where you'll apply those ideas to your own course, discipline, and students. You'll have time to develop activities, troubleshoot pain points, and get feedback as you build an egnaging lesson you can use.
